Cocotique is monthly beauty and lifestyle subscription box which specializes in beauty products for women of color.
Each month you receive 5 to 8 full size and deluxe size beauty products which can include haircare, skincare and makeup.
This months Cocotique Beauty Box was a collab with Black Radiance. The box is a beautiful black box covered in red lips and says Cocotique X Black Radiance.
When you open the box the first thing you see inside is a card that says Cocotique “Black Radiance Melanin Goddess” “Takeover Box” on one side with a description of the box and on the other side of the card there is a list and description of the items received in the box.
This months box was packed full of goodies from Black Radiance and other brands. Here are all the items we received.
The first item in the box is The Black Radiance Artisan Color Baked Blush.
The blush is a beautiful fuschia color that applies smoothly. The blush is very pigmented so I will have to use a light hand to avoid applying to much color.
Next we have the Black Radiance Sparkling Liquid Liner. The eyeliner is a black liner with specs of glitter.
The third item in the box is The Black Radiance Eye Appeal Relentless Volume Mascara. Mine is in the color black. I have never tried a mascara by Black Radiance and look forward to trying this out.
The fourth item is The Black Radiance Urban Identity Eyeshadow Trio.
I received my eyeshadow trio in the color Desire which is a deep, mid-tone and light purple. All the shades needed to create a nice look.
Fifth in the box is the Coconut Restore Keratin Intensive Repair Masque.
This item smells amazing but I will passing it along to my daughter who currently wears her hair natural.
The next item is the Coconut Restore Texture & Volumizing Spray. The spray is designed to boost soft curls, protect hair from frizz and add body and volume to the hair. I will be passing this one along as well.
The seventh item in the box is Duft and Doft Scandilicious Nourishing Hand Cream. This hand cream smells amazing and I will be throwing it in my purse to have on the go.
Next up is probably my favorite item in the box it is the SheaMoisture Bamboo Charcoal Body Scrub w/tea tree oil. I am super excited about trying this product. I already use and love the Shea Moisture brand black soap so I think this will be a great addition to my routine.
Next we have Urban Hydration Olive & Argan Cleansing Face Oil. I am excited for this product and looking forward to adding it to my skin care routine.
I actually thought that was the last item in my box until I went back through and found an item hidden under the shredded paper in the box. It is a Black Radiance Perfect Tone Lip Color. The color is a Hibiscus which is a gorgeous pink shade. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo to post because I found it in the box late.
Overall I really think Cocotique put together a great box this month. There were 10 items, all of which I can use or pass on and the total value of my box is $58.61.
